Russo’s On The Bay
Opened in 1987, Russo’s On The Bay has developed a reputation for fine dining in an atmosphere of elegance. It’s large facility and Italian decor make it a popular New York City location for weddings, social, and corporate events.
To create an online experience that reflects the decor and style that is uniquely Russo’s On The Bay. Since the company had built its entire reputation by word-of-mouth, it was important that this new venture in online marketing be an interactive website that truly engaged its audience. The site needed to include the following:
- Bridal Portal – a completely different website exclusively for Russo’s On The Bay brides
- HD Virtual Tours of the entire facility for wedding, social, and corporate events
- Engaging and informative videos about Russo’s On The Bay and its three main services – weddings, social events, and corporate events
- Menu and recipe downloads, floor plans, upcoming events and other page information
Site navigation, integral to the design phase, had to be taken into consideration with mass amounts of information Russo’s had to offer its online visitors.
An Italian marbled & tiled website with the Russo’s R and flourishes interwoven. The opening page is a Flash animated photo frame of Russo’s with a moving sky and real-time clock tower. The nighttime presents a different and unique experience we won’t give away, but is worth seeing. Three state-of-the-art, full facility, interactive virtual tours were created featuring weddings, social events, and corporate events. Videos, photos, and the bridal portal, as well as a wealth of other information, were distributed throughout the site.
The newly themed site helped boost sales and revenue. The high-definition, virtual tours became a powerful presales tool allowing online visitors to take a tour of Russo’s On The Bay, anytime they liked.
